As usual, we catered the PTK induction for spring and had a few culinary students inducted into the honor society (I didn't take any pictures though - whoops!)

On April 10th, we had our first annual Culinary Graduation/Alumni dinner. Those students who graduated in the fall or going to this spring were honored with dinner and got to catch up with the alumni who attended. It was a fun evening and I hope it can be bigger and better next year! It was fun to see everyone. If you are an alumni reading this and you didn't get an invitation, please forward your address to me so I have current information on you!

Last night was student awards and it was a really nice ceremony regardless of the stormy weather. Danieal Sanzo was honored with the award for Ourstanding Student Leadership in our Culinary/Hospitality Student Organization - Congratulations Danieal!

Wow, it has been a long time since I updated this page, so I have a lot to post!

The spring semester has been long and busy but is quickly coming to an end. We had many successful events, including a chamber luncheon for over 100 the day after the big snow storm we had in January.

On February 16th, we again participated in "Empty Bowls" the annual fundraiser for the Tarrant Area food bank. We mixed it up a bit and served Minestrone soup (for the past few years, we have served white bean chili). The soup was a success and we ran out just before the event ended.
